Jennifer Wall received her MFA in metalsmithing and jewelry at the University of Oregon. She also received a double-emphasis BFA from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, where she studied both metalsmithing and graphic design. Her work has been installed at Lumpwest in Eugene, Oregon and Manidesign Gallery in Naples, Italy. It was also shown in From Minimal to Bling: Contemporary Studio Jewelry , an exhibition at the Society of Arts and Crafts in Boston (2007). Additionally, she was included in the Crafting Romance exhibitition at ATHICA in Athens, GA, as well as in numerous university-sited shows at the University of Oregon, Colorado State University, Savannah College of Art and Design, and Stephen F. Austin State University. Jennifer employs the use of a laser cutter and other machines of mass production in her work, and is interested in the intersection between the machined and the hand-crafted. She utilizes a range of methodologies and material, and is always interested in inquiries related to reception, absorption, and value. |
